What is the best time to travel?

The dry season, from April to November, is ideal for exploring Madagascar. Each region reveals its charms at different times: the Tsingy de Bemaraha are only open from the end of May, and the coastal track between Morondava and Tuléar holds surprises depending on the season.

Is this trip suitable for families with children?

Yes! We adjust the pace, activities, and accommodations so that both young and old can fully enjoy the experience. Note, however, that visiting the Tsingy de Bemaraha is not recommended for children under 15 for safety reasons.

What vehicles are used for the tours?

Our adventures take place in all-terrain 4x4s, minibuses, or buses for groups of 5 or more people, with experienced driver-guides. Depending on the itinerary, we also organize transfers by boat, helicopter, private plane, or domestic flight.

Can the tour be customized?

Absolutely! Every trip with Sahia Travel is 100% tailor-made. Adapt the duration, stages, and activities according to your desires for a unique experience.

What meals are included in the tour?

All our trips include half-board (breakfast and dinner). Some tours also offer lunches so you can fully discover the typical flavors.

Are any specific vaccines or treatments required?

No vaccination is legally required to enter Madagascar, but consulting your doctor before departure is advisable. An anti-malarial treatment may be recommended depending on the regions visited.

Does a guide accompany the tour and in what language?

Yes! All our driver-guides speak English and French. We also offer specialized guides, German-speaking or in other languages upon request, to make your experience complete and immersive.

What should I pack in my suitcase?

Travel light and smart! Pack comfortable and breathable clothing, good walking shoes, a swimsuit, a windbreaker, a hat, as well as your essentials: sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
